You always want to give you kids healthy food and are always on the look out for kids healthy food recipe, but they always seem to run away from such foods, what if i told you that you can make a Lollipop Recipe for them which is very healthy and extremely yummy. Ingredients for the Oats and Nuts Lollipop Recipe

  • ½ cup ‏Grated jaggery / Gud
  • ¼ cup ‏Oats
  • 1/4 cup ‏Dry fruits (almonds, walnuts, pistachios, cashews )
  • 1 tbsp ‏Til / sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp ‏Ghee / Clarified butter

Prepping for the Oats and Nuts Lollipop Recipe

  1. Finely chop or grate the Jaggery
  2. Chop the dry fruits.

Method for the Oats and Nuts Lollipop Recipe

1) First you need to dry roast few of these items so in a kadai which is hot add the dry fruits and roast them on a medium flame for just about a minute, and then remove it in a bowl.

2)Next add the oats and roast for 1 minute and then remove in the same bowl with the dry fruits.

3)Next add the till which is sesame seeds and roast for 1 minute and then remove in the same bowl along with the dry fruits and oats.

4)In the same kadai add 1 tsp of  ghee and once hot then add the jaggery which is gud and cook it till it melts and there are no big pieces remaining

5)Once the jaggery melts turn off the flame and add all the contents (Dry fruits, oats and sesame seeds )and mix it well.

6)And keep it as it is for 5 minutes for it to cool down a bit before you can work on it or else you could burn my hands. But remember guys it still needs to be warm enough so we can shape it.

7)Now take a small glass and put some cotton in it and keep it aside, you are also going to need some toothpicks for this so make sure you have some handy.

8) and now take a small amount of the ghee and apply on your fingers so it’s easy to work with the lollipop mixture.

9)Now take a small amount of this lolipop mixture and give it a round shape.

10)Once you have your desired shape take a toothpick and press it in

11) and place it in the glass.

12) Simply repeat the same for the rest.

 

You can make it for birthday parties or simply have them on ur kitchen table and no kid will be able to resist this. This is will easily last for 4-5 days. If you live in a hot climate then you should eat them before 3 days.
