Ingredients for the Zebra Cake

  • 150 gram ‏Oreo Biscuit golden
  • 150 grm ‏Oreo Biscuit dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp ‏Sugar powder
  • 1 cup ‏Lukewarm Milk
  • ½ tsp ‏Baking powder
  • ½ tsp ‏Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp ‏Vanilla essence
  • ½ tsp ‏Chocolate essence

Prepping for the Zebra Cake

1)in a Mixer Grinder add the golden oreos along with the cream filling. the cream filling in the oreos gives a really good taste to the cake and makes the cake very spongy so blend the oreos along with the cream.

2) Once blended remove it in a bowl.

3)Repeat the same with the chocolate oreos

4)and now to the golden oreos add 1 tbsp of powdered sugar and 1 tbsp in the chocolate oreos.

5)Then add ¼ tsp of baking soda in each of the oreo bowls, followed by ¼ tsp of baking powder in each bowls.

6)And now start adding little lukewarm milk at a time and mix everything in and make a smooth slurry .

7)you will need about ½ cup of milk to get to the pouring consistency.

(Also guys make sure the milk is not hot, but luke warm.)

8)and now start adding  milk in the chocolate oreos and you need to get to the same pouring consistency as the golden oreos.

9)And now grease the baking pan with some oil

10)and add the butter paper/ or parchment paper and grease that as well. This will help the cake to come out very easily.

11)Now guys in our golden oreo bowl add ¼  tsp of vanilla essence

And to the chocolate oreo bowl add ¼ tsp of chocolate essence and if you don’t have the chocolate essence you can just add vanilla essence. And now quickly mix it in.

Method for making the Zebra Cake

1)Once the batter is ready and the baking pan is also ready it’s time to get creative  so take a spoon and add 1 tbsp of the golden oreo batter in the center of the cake mould and then add 1 tbsp of the chocolate batter on top of the golden oreo batter and simply repeat it till both your oreo batters are over.

2) and now just 2-3 times tap the cake mould lightly on the table.

3)And guys as we are making the cake in the cooker add water in the cooker and once the water comes to a boil so add a ring in the center and very carefully place the baking pan on top of the ring.

4)And now cover the cooker lid without the whistle and cook for 20 min on medium flame

5)After 20 minutes switch of the flame and check if the cake is cooked by piercing a toothpick and as nothing stick to the toothpick means your cake is cooked. If the batter sticks to your toothpick then cover the lid and cook for more 5 minutes.

6)So now very carefully remove the cake and place it on a coaster and wait for the cake to cool down a bit say for 10 min.(This might be the hardest part)

7)And then take a knife and go piercing around the corners so it’s easy for the cake to come out and now place a plate on top of the cake and flip it and

8)And now very gently remove the butter paper and place a plate on top and turn the cake upside down again.

9)And cut a big slice for you to enjoy.
