Oats flour (blended oats) ½ cup
Soya flour(blended soya granules) ¼ cup
Walnuts 2 tbsp
Baking soda 1 tsp
Baking powder 1 tsp
Cocoa powder 4 tbsp

Method for making the Healthy Cake

1)You need run all of the dry ingredients through a sieve to aerate them.

2)So first goes in the rajgira or amaranth flour, followed by the oats powder and then the soya flour then the cocoa powder and then the baking soda and powder.

3)Once done with that add the walnuts and keep the bowl aside.

4)Now in a big mixing bowl, add the milkmaid and the oil and mix it till it becomes one with each other.

5)Once the milkmaid and the oil is nicley mixed in start adding 2 tbsp of the mixed flour which you had kept aside and mix it in well.

6)Then add some water and mix that well as well this way keep adding the flour and the water alternately till all the water as well as the flour is mixed in with the milkmaid.

7)once you have your cake batter ready, grease the cake pan with some butter or oil or ghee. Make sure that it’s evenly coating all of the surface of the pan.

8)Then sprinkle some flour and make sure that it also covers all the surface of the pan.

9)Once the pan is coated pour the cake batter in the pan.

10)now tap this pan on the counter 3-4 times to help all the air bubbles to escape.

11)Now in a pressure cooker add a stand cover the lid without the whistle and turn the flame on low and heat for 5 minutes .

12)After 5 minutes add the baking pan cover the lid and cook on low flame for 35-40 minutes.

13)After that open the lid and pierce a knife or toothpick and if the batter doesn’t stick to the toothpick then your cake is ready.

If the batter sticks that means you have to keep the cake for a little longer.

14)Then turn off the flame and cover the lid back again and let it sit for 5 minutes.

15)After 5 minutes gently remove it and place it on a stand.  and wait till it cools down say for 10- 15 minutes,

16)After 10-15 minutes place a plate on top of the cake and turn the cake around, use another plate and turn it around again.

17)Now sprinkle some powdered sugar on top along with some sprinkles

18)wait for another 15 minutes till the cake cooles down completely and then cut into equal pieces.

You can store this cake in the fridge for 3-4 days in an airtight container.

This cake also tastes very good with some chocolate ice cream.
