Ingredients for the Granola Bar Recipe
Cornflakes slightly crushed | ¼ cup | |
Chocos slightly crushed | ½ cup | |
Oats | ¾ cup | |
Mixed dry fruits (almonds, walnuts, pistachios, cashews ) | ½ cup | |
Melon seeds / watermelon seeds | 2 tbsp | |
Kismis / Raisins | 1 tbsp | |
Dark chocolate chips | 11/2 tbsp | |
Sugar | 1 cup | |
Oil or ghee | to grease the pan |
Prepping for the Granola Bar Recipe
1)Roughly chop all the dry fruits
2)Grease a plate with oil or ghee
Method to make the Granola Bar Recipe
1)So guys first we need to dry roast few of these items so in a hot kadai add the Melon seeds and roast them for just about a minute on a medium flame
2)And then remove it in a bowl.
3)Next add the dry fruites and roast them again for a minute on a medium flame and
4)then remove them in the same bowl.
5)Then roast the oats for 1 minute and remove it in the same bowl
6)Now add the sugar and let it melt, make sure the flame is on low and that you keep constantly stirring it.
7)Once the sugar melts completely add the bowl with (The melon seeds, dry fruits and the oats), followed by the Chocos, Corn flakes the Raisins the dark chocolate chips and make sure you are constantly stirring everything in while doing so.
8)Now in a greased a plate add this hot mixture.And immediately start pressing it down.
It best if you use a katori ( flat bowl) to do so and
9)And while this mixture is warm use a knife and start cutting it.
10)After you are done cutting it we just wait for 15 minutes or until this mixture is down to room temperature.
11)Once it down to room temperature remove it and put it in a serving bowl.
